Provision of Rs 2 crore 40 lakh for construction of new building

Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel inaugurated Swami Atmanand Government English Medium Adarsh College in Korba to provide higher education in English medium to the students of Korba district. English College is starting from this session with Arts, Commerce, Science and Computer Science subjects. This college is affiliated to Atal Bihari Vajpayee University, Bilaspur. The admission process has started for the session 2023-24, in which students are taking admission in all the faculties.
This college is equipped with modern equipment along with traditional teaching facilities. The benefits of which will be received by the students studying here. From the point of view of security, the entire campus has been covered by C.C.T.V. The camera is kept under surveillance. Necessary resources have been arranged for sports and cultural activities. So that students can have intellectual, physical, mental and multidimensional development.
A total of 34 posts of principal, assistant professor, librarian, entomologist and third and fourth class have been approved by the government for the operation of this college and a provision of Rs 2 crore 40 lakh has also been made for the construction of the new building.
With the commencement of English medium college in the district, students studying in Atmanand English medium school and private English medium school run in the district will not have to study in other places. They will get quality higher education in their city itself.
