Raipur, July 28, 2023: According to the information compiled by the State Level Control Room set up by the State Government’s Revenue and Disaster Management Department, an average rainfall of 461.1 mm has been recorded in the state since June 1, 2023. According to the rainfall recorded in various districts of the state from June 01, 2023 till today, July 28, the highest average rainfall of 1000.5 mm has been recorded in Bijapur district and the lowest of 154.2 mm in Surguja district.
According to the information received from the state level flood control room, since June 1, an average rainfall of 287.9 mm has been recorded in Surajpur district, 288.0 mm in Balrampur, 312.8 mm in Jashpur, 391.3 mm in Korea, 384.4 mm in Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur.
Similarly, 535.7 mm in Raipur district, 421.9 mm in Balodabazar, 483.9 mm in Gariaband, 448.2 mm in Mahasamund, 553.2 mm in Dhamtari, 422.9 mm in Bilaspur, 541.7 mm in Mungeli, 432.8 mm in Raigarh, 372.3 mm in Sarangarh-Bilaigarh. Average rainfall was recorded in Janjgir-Champa 319.4 mm, Sakti 334.0 mm, Korba 395.9 mm, Gorela-Pendra-Marwahi 312.6 mm, Durg 387.7 mm. 325.7 mm in Kabirdham district, 620.5 mm in Rajnandgaon, 691.2 mm in Mohla-Manpur-Ambagadchoki, 505.1 mm in Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandai, 623.4 mm in Balod, 314.4 mm in Bemetara, 559.7 mm in Bastar, 392.9 mm in Kondagaon, Kanker 474.6 mm in Narayanpur, 443.1 mm in Dantewada, 667.5 mm in Sukma and 818.4 mm in Sukma recorded average rainfall since June 1.
