Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel has paid tribute to the martyrs of the Kargil war while saluting the valor of the Indian soldiers on July 26, Kargil Vijay Diwas. Mr. Baghel said that Kargil Vijay Diwas teaches that the country is above all. This day reminds us of our duties towards the country. On July 26, 1999, the Indian Army achieved success in ‘Operation Vijay’ by freeing Kargil from the intruders even under adverse circumstances with its indomitable courage and bravery. In the memory of this glorious day, we celebrate Kargil Vijay Diwas every year. It is a day to show respect and gratitude to the brave sons of the country.
