Chhattisgarh: Aam Aadmi Party encircles the government in Raipur, investigates more than 93 percent of the state’s roads

The Aam Aadmi Party surrounded the government in Raipur regarding the condition of the roads in Chhattisgarh. Citing the CAG report, AAP leaders said that more than 93 percent of the roads in the state have proved to be non-standard in the investigation. Due to which the lives of people walking on the road are at risk every day. Apart from this, AAP has also warned of agitation regarding the delay in commissioning of Tatibandh flyover.

Aam Aadmi Party’s state spokesperson Suraj Upadhyay said that the CAG report states that 6852 samples have failed in 7401 road samples in Chhattisgarh. Which shows that most of the roads are built in a non-standard manner. He further said that the condition of roads in Chhattisgarh is worst in the whole country. He alleged that earlier the BJP government and now the Congress government have only misused public money. Because of which today wherever they go to Bhilai, Raigarh, Raipur, they have to pass through bad roads.

Regarding the Tatibandh flyover, Suraj Upadhyay said that more than 5 lakh people pass through that place every day. Those who often become victims of accidents due to disorganization. The situation there has become even worse in the rainy season. He said that we have also given a memorandum to the officials of National Highway Authority, Raipur, if the flyover is not operational within 15 days, then the Raipur district Aam Aadmi Party will launch a fierce agitation on this issue.
