The Chhattisgarh government has sanctioned Rs 33 crore 76 lakh 67 thousand for the construction of Lava Reservoir Scheme of development block-Kusmi of Balrampur-Ramanujganj district. With the construction of the scheme, irrigation facility will be available for the regional farmers in about 1050 hectare area for Kharif, Ravi and summer crops. Administrative approval has been issued by the Water Resources Department to Chief Engineer Hasdev Ganga Cachar Water Resources Department, Ambikapur for the construction work of the scheme.
