Like every time, the festival of Hareli will be celebrated with great pomp in the residence of Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel in the capital Raipur. Preparations are going on in full swing at the Chief Minister’s residence to celebrate the Hareli festival.
Chief Minister Mr. Baghel will participate in events like Bhanvra, Banti, Gilli Danda, Matki Phod and Gedi dance after participating in the worship of Tulsi Puja agricultural instruments on Hareli Tihar. On this occasion, after worshiping cow, they will feed Londi prepared on the occasion of Hareli. Raut Nacha, Gedi dance will be performed by Chhattisgarhi folk artists and Hareli songs will also be sung in the program organized at Chief Minister’s residence. An exhibition of livestock development and traditional agricultural machinery will be organized on this occasion. Chief Minister’s residence is being decorated according to the rural environment. A residence is also being set up here.
Raut Nacha program in Hareli Tihar will be presented by Dayalu Ram Yadav and his team. Presentation of Gedi dance Prem Yadav and folk art culture will be given by Anurag Sharma’s team. Hareli is the festival of farming as well as the biggest day of sports in Chhattisgarh. On this day, the Chief Minister will inaugurate the Chhattisgarh Olympics at village Navagaon (L) in Raipur district and will attend the Kisan Sammelan organized there. It is noteworthy that Chhattisgarh government has declared public holidays on 6 major festivals of Chhattisgarh, Hareli festival is also included in them.
