Deepak Baij, the new state president of Chhattisgarh Congress, has reached Raipur. After reaching Rajiv Bhavan, he will take over as PCC chief. Deepak Baij is a tribal leader of Bastar. Born on July 14, 1981 in Gadhiya, Bastar, Deepak Baij started his political journey from student life. In 2008, he was made the district president of NSUI.
In 2009, he became the working president of the Block Congress Committee, Lohandiguda. In 2012, he was made full-time chairman. He got the assembly ticket for the first time in 2013 and won.
