Raipur. 12 July 2023. Rahul Gandhi has not got relief from the court in the Modi surname case, after which the Congress is continuously demonstrating on this issue. In this episode, today Congress is doing silent Satyagraha in the whole country. AICC has kept this silent satyagraha to show support and solidarity towards Rahul Gandhi.
All the leaders of the state are involved in this Satyagraha in the historic Gandhi Maidan of Raipur. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, state in-charge Kumari Selja, PCC President Mohan Markam, along with many big faces of power and organization are protesting by remaining silent together. Here the demonstration is going on in front of the statue of Mahatma Gandhi from 10 am which will continue till 5 pm. The Gujarat High Court has rejected Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s plea to stay his conviction in a criminal defamation case over his remark on Modi surname. Even the High Court has not given relief to Rahul after losing the post of MP. After which Congress is expressing disagreement about this decision of the court. Earlier, CM, Deputy CM and other leaders had reached Ambedkar Chowk in the capital.
Even when the court’s decision came on July 7, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, Deputy CM TS Singhdev and PCC President Mohan Markam including all Congress leaders canceled all programs and staged a sit-in protest at Ambedkar Chowk in Raipur. Here the CM had said that the British were only afraid of Mahatma Gandhi. BJP is scared of Rahul Gandhi. Both British and BJP are following the policy of divide and rule. BJP people are scared. Can’t face the truth. Rahul Gandhi talks about truth, talks about honesty. Now even the membership of the Lok Sabha has ended, still they are afraid. Rahul Gandhi did the work of uniting India.
