Collector Mr. Sinha did surprise inspection of Chandmari Fish Seed Farm

Collector Mr. Taran Prakash Sinha made a surprise inspection of fish seed farm, Chandmari this afternoon. Collector Mr. Sinha inspected the farm and took detailed information regarding breeder collection, egg collection and spawn, fry, fingerling production process for fish seed production here. It was told by the field in-charge that the target of fish seed spawn production in the year 2023-24 is 750 lakhs. Against which 350 lakh spawn have been produced so far. At present the work of fish seed production is in progress.
During this, Collector Mr. Sinha also inquired about the benefits being given to the farmers from the schemes of the government. Instructing the departmental officers, he said that the target of fish seed production should be fulfilled 100 percent and directed the fish farmers of the district to supply advanced quality fish seed at the government rate. During the inspection, Assistant Director Fisheries Mr. MK Patle, Field Incharge and Fisheries Officer Mr. Dhani Janghel, Assistant Fisheries Officer Mr. Krishna Jaiswal, Fisheries Inspector and all the staff were present.
