Sports and Youth Welfare Department organized the selection trial of players for residential and non-residential academies in Raipur and Bilaspur at Swami Vivekanand Stadium Kota Raipur and Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Hockey Ground Raipur on 11 and 12 July. More than 650 players participated in it.
According to the information received from the Sports and Youth Welfare Department, the selection trial of players was conducted for non-residential archery, girls football academy, non-residential hockey academy, non-residential athletics academy and residential athletics academy under Khelo India Excellence Center Bilaspur, operated in Raipur. In this selection trial, about 650 players were medically examined, tested for physical ability and tested for sports skills. The selection list of players will be released soon.
