On the instructions of Public Health Engineering Minister Guru Rudrakumar, continuous supply of pure drinking water is being done in the rural areas of the state. In this series, an amount of Rs 23 crore 90 lakh 14 thousand has been approved for providing 100 percent domestic tap connections in 22 villages of Bilaspur district. Under which 201 in village Ponsra (Kekrapara) of Bilha development block of Bilaspur district, Ponsra (Revdhapara) 402, Chakarbhatha 580, Kormi (Awaspara) 533, Limha 488, Garhwat 284, Gidhauri 336, Majurpahari (Bamhanikhurd) 200, Magaruchla 275, Cellar Domestic tap connections will be provided to 719, Gatauri 409 and 292 families of Saravandevari village.
Similarly in village Kenda 309, Rigriga 506, Amagohan 458, Khaira 366, Kalmitar 343, Lufa (Bhadrapara) 104, Jarga 153 of Konchra gram panchayat, Podi (Salkha) 271, Tendua (Bagbudwapara) 81 and Parsada village of Kota block. Domestic tap connections will be provided to 239 households.
