Chief Executive Officer of Chhattisgarh Red Cross Society, Mr. M.K. Raut and President Mr. Ashok Agarwal had a courtesy meeting. He apprised the Governor about the activities carried out by the Red Cross in the state this year. He informed that the state-of-the-art Nucleic Acid Testing (NAAT) machine has been installed in the blood bank of Raipur established by the Red Cross. causing HIV, HCV, HBV, Diseases can be identified and the beneficiaries will get benefit from it. Chief Executive Officer of Red Cross Mr. Raut informed the Governor that a meeting of district collectors has been held through video conferencing to increase the number of Red Cross members in all the districts and for the formation of Red Cross Management Committees for the smooth operation of the Red Cross. The activities of Junior and Youth Red Cross are being increased. The governor gave them necessary guidance in this regard.
