Governor-cum-Chancellor Mr. Vishwabhushan Harichandan has recommended a panel for the appointment of Vice-Chancellor in Dau Shri Vasudev Chandrakar Kamdhenu University, Anjora, Durg under the provision contained in sub-section (2) of Section-9 of the Chhattisgarh Kamdhenu University Act, 2011 (No. 21 of 2011). A committee has been constituted for the purpose.
According to the notification issued from the Raj Bhavan Secretariat, Dr. Bijayand Singh will be the chairman of the committee and Dr. Ayaz F. Tamboli Special Secretary, Ch. Government, Agriculture Development and Farmers Welfare and Biotechnology Department and Dr.CS. Prasad, former Assistant Director General ( ICAR ) will be a member of the said committee. This committee will submit a panel of minimum three persons to the Chancellor within six weeks from the date of circulation of the notification.
A notification in this regard has been issued today from the Raj Bhavan Secretariat.
