Sirpur Special Area Development Authority Chairman Mr. Satish Jaggi met Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel at his residence office this evening. Mr. Jaggi informed the Chief Minister about his meeting with the Buddhist Guru, Mr. Dalai Lama. Mr. Jaggi said that during the meeting with the Dalai Lama in Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh, he informed the Dalai Lama about the intention of the Chief Minister Mr. Baghel to develop the Buddhist heritage of Sirpur and establish it in the World Heritage and Gurugram sent by the Chief Minister. He was handed over an invitation letter to attend the World Buddhist Meeting to be held in Sirpur from 6 to 9 September 2023. Mr. Jaggi presented the state gamchha and memento of Chhattisgarh state to the Dalai Lama on the occasion. He told the Chief Minister that the Dalai Lama has made efforts to preserve the Buddhist heritage in Chhattisgarh.
