Khelo India State Center of Excellence and Girls Residential Kabaddi Academy players met, reviewed facilities
Awarded to outstanding sportspersons at the national level

Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Mr. Umesh Patel today met the players of Khelo India State Center of Excellence and Girls Residential Kabaddi Academy located in Bilaspur district and took stock of the facilities being provided to them and also gave necessary guidelines to the officials. On this occasion, he inaugurated the training session of the players in the Kabaddi Academy and honored the national level outstanding players of the Kabaddi Academy by giving mementos. Minister Mr. Patel, during this time late B.R. Yadav by planting fruitful and shady trees at the State Sports Training Center Bahtarai and appealed to the common people to plant trees as well.
Sports Minister Mr. Patel said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, the state government is making continuous efforts to promote sports. Along with training in various disciplines, necessary facilities are also being provided to the sportspersons of the state. He told that 27 Khelo India Centers have been started by the government to promote sports. Through this, the natural talent present in the talented players is being nurtured.
On this occasion, MLA of Bilaspur city Mr. Shailesh Pandey, Chairman of Chhattisgarh Tourism Board Mr. Atal Srivastava, Vice Chancellor of Atal Bihari Vajpayee University Prof. Mr. A.D.N. Vajpayee along with senior social workers Mr. Vijay Kesharwani, Mr. Krishna Kumar Yadav (Raju Yadav) and Mr. Vivek Vajpayee were present.
