A meeting of the Management Executive of the Autonomous Committee of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College and Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Memorial Hospital was held under the chairmanship of Dr. Sanjay Kumar Alang, Commissioner, Raipur Division. In the meeting, discussions were held on topics such as wages and salaries, honorarium, machines, equipment, chemical consumables, maintenance of machinery, library journals, hostel expenses, lab and office furniture, fire fighting, minor construction work and swing house. Item-wise discussion was held on the budget provision. After discussion, the autonomous budget for the financial year 2023-24 was also approved.
Divisional Commissioner Dr. Alang gave instructions to speed up the recruitment of staff nurse and other vacant posts in the medical college and related hospital at the office level. He also directed to make budget provision for research in the autonomous budget of the medical college for 2023-24.
