Mumbai. 25 June 2023. Kuljit Pal, who was the producer of Mahesh Bhatt’s film ‘Arth’, passed away on Saturday. 90-year-old Kuljeet was running ill for a long time. Giving information about his death, manager Sanjay Bajpai told that Kuljeet had suffered a heart attack.
Arth would not have been possible without their support
Bollywood celebrities have expressed their grief after hearing the news of Kuljeet’s demise. Mahesh Bhatt, the director of the film ‘Arth’ also remembered him. Mahesh said, ‘Kuljeet was a Sher Dil producer and he always stood by me in my good and bad times. I would not have been able to make a film like ‘Arth’ without his support.
Directorial debut film could not be released
Kuljeet is known for producing films like ‘Arth’, ‘Vasna’, ‘Paramatma’ and ‘Aaj’ in Bollywood. After this, he was making a film named ‘Do Shikari’ in 1979 with Rekha and Biswajeet. Kuljeet was also going to direct it. However, due to some reasons this film could not be released.
Prayer meet will be held on June 29
Kuljit’s family has also organized a prayer meet for him in Mumbai on the evening of 29 June. Many Bollywood celebs will also reach on this occasion.
