Appellant will now be able to join mobile for hearing

Chhattisgarh State Information Commission has taken a new initiative. Appellants will now be able to join the hearing of second appeal through mobile also. With this, the appellant sitting at home or from any other place can be directly present in the second appeal hearing through video conferencing with the help of mobile.
      It has been started on a trial basis in the Chhattisgarh State Information Commission from Wednesday, June 21. It was tried today in the court of State Information Commissioner Mr. Manoj Trivedi and State Information Commissioner Mr. Dhanvendra Jaiswal in the hearing of several cases. Several cases of Thakur Naval Singh from Bilaspur and Mr. Devashish from Kanker were heard in the second appeal hearing under RTI. In this the appellant attended the hearing from his mobile. The State Information Commission was thanked by the appellants for getting the opportunity of hearing sitting at home. The appellants said that this is a good initiative taken by the Commission, it will save time and provide convenient opportunities.
State Information Commissioner Mr. Trivedi asked the appellants to use better network to connect through mobile connection, so that audio and video quality is good. State Information Commissioner Mr. Jaiswal told the appellants that now hearing of second appeal cases from mobile can be done sitting at home or from other places. He told that till now the appellants were attending the hearing in the court room of the State Information Commissioner or from the video conferencing room of NIC located at the Collectorate of the respective districts. Now you will get the opportunity and facility to join from mobile also.
How will the appellant connect with the mobile
Chhattisgarh State Information Commission Secretary Mr. G. R. Churendra has informed that work has been started on trial basis for the candidates to attend the State Information Commission second appeal hearing through mobile connection. In this, a link will be sent to the registered mobile number of the appellants from the court of the State Information Commissioner. Through that link, the appellant will be able to directly connect on the date of hearing in the case of second appeal under the Right to Information Act, 2005.
