Raipur, 16 June 2023. Patwaris strike in Chhattisgarh is over. Chief Minister Mr. Baghel instructed him to clear the stuck works as soon as possible due to the strike. After ending the strike on Thursday night, the office bearers of the Patwari Sangh reached the Chief Minister’s residence and met Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel here.
Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel has given strict instructions to do the work of students and youth with promptness. It may be known that the government has opened a large number of jobs, due to which the youth in the state are excited. Everyone is also getting employment opportunities. Taking steps forward in this direction, the Government of Chhattisgarh is also creating new dimensions in the field of higher education. Taking this situation into cognizance, on the special initiative of the Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, the strike of Patwaris has ended.
Chief Minister Mr. Baghel has instructed the Patwaris to complete the work of public service on priority. The Chief Minister has also instructed the Chief Secretary to complete the work interrupted due to the Patwaris’ strike at the earliest.
It is notable that the Patwari unions in the state were on an indefinite strike since May 15 for their various demands. Due to this the common man was facing many problems. Whereas, after the directions of the Supreme Court on reservation, the way has been opened for recruitment in government posts in the state and on the instructions of the Chief Minister, recruitment is going on on a large scale in all the departments in Chhattisgarh on motion mode. For which Patwari has the main role in making necessary documents like caste, income, residence certificate.
With the commencement of the education session due to the Patwaris strike, the students were also facing difficulty in getting the necessary documents like caste, residence, income. While dealing with the revenue related works of the farmers, the general public, the urgent services related to the revenue department There was also an obstacle. In view of this, Chief Minister Mr. Baghel took a special initiative and ended the strike of Patwaris.
