Tribal and Scheduled Castes Development Minister Dr. Premsai Singh Tekam instructed to speed up the cases of distribution of forest rights letters. Apart from this, priority should be given to the beneficiaries who have received Community Forest Rights, Community Forest Resources Rights Letter and Forest Rights Letter in works approved under MNREGA and other ancillary works. He has said that the forest rights holders of special backward tribes should be given the benefits of all departmental schemes. Convergence work should be done under MNREGA on the land of their forest rights lease. The departments should be given the target of work by forming District Coordination Committee. The villages where forest rights have been given more leases should be declared as model villages and work should be done for these sections. The list of ideal villages should be given to all the departments and they should be benefited from various schemes. Minister Dr. Tekam here today at Tribal Research and Training Institute, Raipur. He was addressing the assistant commissioners and project administrators of Durg and Bilaspur divisions. The meeting was attended by the Secretary of the Department Mr. D.D. Singh and Commissioner Mrs. Shammi Abidi along with senior officers.
    Minister Dr. Tekam said that keeping in view the current weather, the forest rights holders should get saplings planted on their land. Vegetables and fruit plants should also be distributed here. Secretary of the Department Mr. D.D. Singh said that last year the target was given to distribute community building rights letters in every village, this work should also be completed. Forest rights lessees of special backward tribes were benefited by distribution of Ayushman cards, pension scheme and distribution of ration cards. Along with this, pay special attention to the education of the children of these classes. Small forest produce should also be linked to collection work for livelihood. Increase the number of applicants for forest rights recognition. 
    Minister Dr. Tekam gave instructions to fulfill the target of departmental schemes, inspect the construction works at the site and bring expected progress. He said that along with the state, the works of central schemes should also be completed on time. Devguri is the center of faith of the tribals. The community should be involved in this. Instructed to complete all the approved works of Devguri construction at the earliest. 
         Commissioner Smt. Shammi Abidi said that houses are also to be built specially for the backward tribes, for this, after discussing with the heads of these classes and the beneficiaries, houses should be built according to their culture. Housing should be constructed on legal land only and basic facilities of electricity and water should be made available there. He said that the mess operation for the education session 2023-24 in Eklavya Adarsh ​​Residential School, The process of purchasing sports material should be completed soon as per the rules. Special attention should be paid to the education of class 10th and 12th students in these schools. For this, the assistant commissioner of the district should prepare the academic calendar of these schools and ensure that it is followed. The teachers of these schools should be trained according to the subject matter. Assess the academic activities of the children of these schools by taking unit tests every month. The department should get these works completed soon by inspecting the sanctioned minor construction works in the sports complexes in the state on the spot. Timely recruitment of children in sports complexes. In these sports complexes, training should be given to the children by organizing camps according to the sports disciplines. 

    In the meeting, the assistant commissioners were directed to visit and review all the construction works and upgraded hostels-ashrams on the spot. Instructions were also given to improve the educational system in the schools run under the department. In the meeting, the works done under the maintenance and minor heads were also reviewed. Under the review of Eklavya Adarsh ​​Residential Schools in the meeting, uniform supply, textbooks and school-wise, Teacher-wise board exam results and guest teachers’ recruitment status were discussed in detail. Instructions were given to appoint good teachers to teach children on the basis of CBSE pattern. Apart from this, admission and examination results in Prayas residential schools in the year 2022-23 and arrangements for newly started Prayas schools were also reviewed. In the meeting, the progress of approved works in the selected villages under Pradhan Mantri Adarsh ​​Gram Yojana was also reviewed. Instructions were given to the assistant commissioners to inspect the works done in the selected villages. Apart from this, necessary guidelines were given after reviewing the Prevention of Atrocities Act, court cases, recruitment, promotion and compassionate appointment. 

    Similarly, the project administrators were instructed to register the progress of necessary information in the Adigram portal soon. Under Article 275(1) of the Constitution, the year 2021-22 and 2022-23 and under the Central Regional Plan, the works of the particularly vulnerable tribal group agency, cell were reviewed and necessary guidelines were given.
