G-20/L-20 Conclave concluded in Bilaspur

Governor Shri Vishwabhushan Harichandan virtually joined the G-20 Labor 20 Conclave held at Bilaspur today as the chief guest. The program was organized by National Front of Indian Trade Union (NFITU) in association with Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh (BMS). On this occasion, Shri Mahant Ramsunder Das, Chairman of the State Gau Seva Commission, Shri Sunny Agarwal, Chairman of Chhattisgarh Rajya Bhawan and other construction boards were present.
Governor Shri Harichandan said that it is a matter of great pride for all Indians that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, India has assumed the chairmanship of G-20 this year. Whose theme has been kept “One Earth, One Family, One Future”. It is based on the concept of “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam”. He said that it is a matter of great pleasure for Chhattisgarh that eminent personalities from reputed universities, industries, government organizations, trade union organizations, NGOs and experts from various fields have come here to discuss labor issues of global concern. He said that the suggestions that came after the deliberations in this conference will prove to be meaningful for the last G-20 summit. He expressed confidence that this G-20 Conclave would prove to be a milestone in labor related issues of global concern and would benefit our labor force.
The Governor said that the State of Chhattisgarh, known as the “Rice Bowl”, is one of the mineral rich states of India, with abundant forest resources, sufficient labor force and good climate. Today the problem of unemployment, social security and social justice is a matter of concern for all of us. Unemployment is the root cause of various social issues of our society.
He congratulated the office bearers of NFITU for the success of this event. On this occasion, Dr. Deepak Jaiswal, Convener of Labor 20 Conclave, Dr. Alok Chakrawal, Vice Chancellor of Guru Ghasidas Central University, Bilaspur and officials and experts of other labor organizations were present.
