Nearly 77 percent of the target achieved by the collection of 12 lakh 88 thousand standard bags of tendu leaves by 11 lakh Tendupatta collectors
About 13 lakh families will get the benefit of tendu leaves collection

Nearly 12 lakh 88 thousand 241 standard bags of Tendu leaves (Tendupatta) have been collected in Chhattisgarh during the current 2023 collection year, which is nearly 77 percent of the total target set for the state. The goal is to collect 16.72 lakh standard bags of tendu leaves by the end of this year. Of these, the total amount to be given to Tendupatta collectors is more than Rs 515 crore and it has been collected by about 11 lakh tendupatta collectors. The collection work is being carried out continuously under the guidance of the Forest Minister, Shri Mohammad Akbar.
According to the information received from the State Minor Forest Produce Association a total of 81,000 standard bags of tendu leaves have been collected worth Rs 32 crore by 49,825 tendupatta collectors in Bijapur Forests Division of Jagdalpur Circle. In these, 1,22,310 standard bags worth Rs. 49 crores are collected by 58,000 tendupatta collectors in Sukma,15,630 standard bags worth Rs 6 crore is collected by 14,000 tendupatta collectors in Dantewada and 20,970 standard bags worth Rs 8 crore 38 lakh is collected by 39,000 tendupatta collectors in Jagdalpur.
Similarly, under South Kondagaon Forest Division of Kanker Circle, 18,608 standard bags of tendu leaves have been collected worth Rs 7 crore 44 lakh by 29,713 tendupatta collectors in South Kondagaon, 24,963 standard bags worth Rs 10 crores is collected by 33,620 tendupatta collectors in Keshkal, 18,610 standard bags worth Rs 7.50 crores is collected by 15,978 tendupatta collectors in Narayanpur, 90,649 standard bags worth Rs 36 crores is collected by 30,426 tendupatta collectors in East Bhanupratappur, 34,884 standard bags worth Rs 14 crores is collected by 15,295 tendupatta collectors in west Bhanupratappur and 33,342 standard bags worth Rs 13 crores is collected by 31,999 tendupatta collectors in Kanker.
Similarly, Under Rajnandgaon Forest Division of Durg Circle 60,588 standard bags of tendu leaves have been collected worth Rs 24 crores by 44,951 tendupatta collectors in Rajnandgaon, 24,516 standard bags worth Rs 10 crores is collected by 22,508 tendupatta collectors in Khairagarh, 19,000 standard bags worth Rs 8 crores is collected by tendupatta 20,132 collectors in Balod and 32,346 standard bags worth Rs 13 crores is collected by 26,422 tendupatta collectors in Kanker.
Similarly, Under Dhamtari Forest Division of Raipur Circle 20,584 standard bags of tendu leaves have been collected worth Rs 8 crores by 25,064 tendupatta collectors in Dhamtari, 77,574 standard bags worth Rs 31 crores is collected by 61,200 tendupatta collectors in Gariaband, 70,720 standard bags worth Rs 28 crores is collected by 60,612 tendupatta collectors in Mahasamund and 16,000 standard bags worth Rs 6 crores is collected by 18,668 tendupatta collectors in Balodabazar.
Similarly, Under Bilaspur Forest Division of Bilaspur Circle 25,548 standard bags of tendu leaves have been collected worth Rs 10 crores by 23,442 tendupatta collectors in Bilaspur, 10,866 standard bags worth Rs 4 crores is collected by 18,078 tendupatta collectors in Marwahi, 6,883 standard bags worth Rs 3 crores is collected by 9,256 tendupatta collectors in Janjgir-Champa, 49,184 standard bags worth Rs 20 crores is collected by 43,623 tendupatta collectors in Raigarh, 70,945 standard bags worth Rs 28 crores is collected by 45,204 tendupatta collectors in Dharamjaigarh, 43,822 standard bags worth Rs 18 crores is collected by 35,455 tendupatta collectors in Korba and 58,806 standard bags worth Rs24 crore is collected by 57,868 tendupatta collectors in Katghora.
Similarly, Under Jashpur Forest Division of Surguja Circle 27,688 standard bags of tendu leaves have been collected worth Rs 11 crores by 34,262 tendupatta collectors in Jashpur, 28,756 standard bags worth Rs 12 crores is collected by 27,590 tendupatta collectors in Manendragarh, 20,958 standard bags worth Rs 8 crores is collected by 28,047 tendupatta collectors in Korea, 22,229 standard bags worth Rs 9 crores is collected by 21,983 tendupatta collectors in Surguja, 86,561 standard bags worth Rs 35 crores is collected by 73,136 tendupatta collectors in Balrampur and 53,552 standard bags worth Rs 21 crores is collected by 44,892 tendupatta collectors in Surajpur respectively.
