Opening of the plant will provide employment to the people of the area

Industries Minister Mr. Kawasi Lakhma today inspected the ethanol plant under construction at village Kokodi in Kondagaon district and discussed with the villagers. During the discussion, the villagers told that they all are enthusiastic about the construction of the plant. Looking at the fast pace of construction of the plant, everyone is sure that now they will get fair price for their maize crop and they will get profit. It may be noted that a maize processing plant is being set up at Kokodi at a cost of about Rs 140 crore.
On this occasion, the Industry Minister visited the plant along with the collector Mr. Deepak Soni and discussed with the officials related to the construction of the plant, inquired about the progress, the officials told that the construction work of the plant is being carried out at a fast pace. Is. Collector Mr. Soni told that after starting the plant, training will be given to the local youth and they will be given work in the plant according to their capacity and the nearby villagers will be benefited from the employment-oriented activities.
While discussing with the villagers, the Industries Minister said that with the opening of this plant, direct and indirect employment will be available to the people of the area. He informed about regular wage payment and working conditions from the workers working in the plant. The workers told that regular payments are being made in the plant, along with full cooperation is given by the officers in the work. District Panchayat CEO Prem Prakash Sharma, Plant Managing Director KL Uike and representatives of agencies related to plant construction and a large number of villagers were present on the occasion.
