Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel attended the divisional level swearing-in ceremony of Dadsena-Kalar Samaj organized at Bedma village of Keshkal development block today. He inaugurated the program by garlanding the photographs of Maa Danteshwari, Bhagwan Sahastrabahu, Bahadur Kalarin and Chhattisgarh Mahtari. During this, the representatives of Dadsena-Kalar society expressed their gratitude to Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel by weighing them with mahua flowers for procuring 65 types of forest produce at the support price. At the same time, social people greeted the Chief Minister by wearing garlands. Chief Minister Mr. Baghel announced Rs. 50 lakh for the construction of a community building in Keshkal for the Dadsena-Kalar society.
Addressing the function, Chief Minister Mr. Baghel said that we have done a great job in the field of health, education and employment. They are making Devgudi, Mata Gudi, Pen Gudi. Along with this, tribal faith places are also being rejuvenated. He said that tribal dance festival is also being organized. In which national-international artists reach, due to which we have a different identity. Along with this, it is a matter of pride for us that recently we successfully organized the National Ramayana Festival in Raigarh. Chhattisgarh is the first state in the country, where such a grand event was organized on Ramayana and artists from not only the country but also from abroad participated in it.
Chief Minister Mr. Baghel said that we took major decisions in the economic sector, implemented the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana to increase the income of farmers. Farmers loan waiver. This year, instead of 15 quintals, we will buy 20 quintals of paddy per acre from the farmers. He said that even in the adverse situation of lock-down, we did the work of buying Mahua at Rs 17 per kg at Rs 30 per kg and gave economic stability to the people of Vananchal. We have started the purchase of Kodo-Kutki-Ragi at the support price, due to which the income of the farmers has increased tremendously. Maize is also being bought at the support price.
Chief Minister Mr. Baghel said that it is our endeavor to provide maximum employment to the people. He said that I am very happy to inform that appointment letters have been handed over to more than 500 youth today. They have got work in big cities, our youth are getting employment. The Chief Minister said that unemployment allowance is also being given to the youth so that it becomes easier for them to achieve their goal. In the last two months, we have supported the youth by giving Rs 48 crore as unemployment allowance. Chief Minister Mr. Baghel further said that the Dadsena-Kalar community has also played an important role in the development of Chhattisgarh. This society is very hard working. During this, he also congratulated the newly appointed office bearers of the society.
