According to the instructions of the state government, free textbooks, uniforms and cycles will be distributed to the students as per their eligibility on the day of school entrance festival 16th June in the education session 2023-24. Director Public Education Mr. Sunil Kumar Jain has instructed all the Divisional Joint Directors of School Education Department, District Education Officer and DMC of Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan to ensure its implementation.
The concerned officers have been directed that in accordance with the State Government School Education Department, the presence of the School Development Committee, School Development and Management Committee, dignitaries, elected public representatives and parents, compulsorily on the day of school entrance festival, June 16, as per all prior instructions by the Directorate of Public Education. Free textbooks, uniforms and cycles should be distributed in all schools as per eligibility.
In the instruction issued by the Directorate of Public Instruction, it has been said that according to the information given by the Principal Director Chhattisgarh Textbook Corporation and Managing Director Chhattisgarh State Handloom Development and Marketing Cooperative Union, according to the information received from the schools, free textbooks and one set of uniforms have been supplied in all the districts. Is. The supply of some remaining textbooks and uniforms is also being compulsorily completed before June 15.
Apart from this, according to the information given by all the District Education Officers, the purchase order of the cycle has already been given to the concerned company as per the rules to provide free cycles to the eligible girls of class 9th. By whom cycles will be compulsorily supplied within 45 days as per the condition.
The concerned officers have been asked to ensure that all necessary preparations are made in this regard well in advance like in the previous years. The distribution register should be mandatorily maintained by all the institution heads and its entry should be made on the designated portal compulsorily within 7 days after distribution.
