Efforts are being made to improve the financial condition of cooperative societies in the state as per the wish of Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel. Such cooperative societies of the state where there has been zero shortage in procurement of paddy on the support price in the procurement marketing year 2022-23, will be given incentives. Apex Bank Chairman Mr. Baijnath Chandrakar said these things while addressing the training session of the newly appointed presidents of cooperative societies.

A three-day training session for newly appointed presidents of cooperative societies was organized from May 30 to June 1 at Chhattisgarh Cooperative Training Institute, Pandri, Raipur. Here the presidents (authorities) of 27 Primary Agricultural Credit Societies from Raigarh, Pusaur and Dharamjaygarh were trained by the subject experts on leadership development, societies bylaws, powers of the president, society’s capital, funds, management, loan distribution and recovery.
