Forest Minister Mr. Mohammad Akbar said that the economic condition of farmers, animal herders and agricultural laborers has been strengthened through the Nyay schemes in the state of Chhattisgarh. Through various welfare schemes of the government, an amount of one lakh 50 thousand crore rupees has been put in the pockets of the people. Because of which there is prosperity in the fields and in the industries and markets. He said that outstanding agricultural loans and irrigation tax on the farmers of the state have been waived off. Along with this, a big relief has been given to the farmers by providing electricity free of cost and at subsidized rates.

Minister Mr. Akbar said that this year the government has procured 1 crore 10 lakh metric tonnes of paddy. Farmers are being given the right price for their produce. Giving information about farmer-friendly schemes, he said that Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel has announced to increase the limit of sale of paddy from 15 quintals per acre to 20 quintals during the Vidhan Sabha, the farmers of the state will get its direct benefit. He said that Chhattisgarh’s justice schemes have made their mark at the national level and this has brought prosperity and happiness to all sections of the state.

Forest Minister Mr. Akbar was on a one-day visit to Kabirdham district on Saturday. He visited various villages and participated in the Janchoupal programme. He interacted directly with farmers, villagers, landless labourers, youth and women. During this, he also took feedback of the flagship schemes of the state government. Prior to the program, Mr. Akbar duly offered prayers at Maa Mahamaya Temple in Gram Panchayat Badbhanwar. Taking the blessings of Mother Mahamaya, he wished for the happiness and prosperity of the state.

Inaugurated new primary school building – During his stay, Forest Minister Mr. Mohammad Akbar inaugurated the newly constructed new primary school building in village Barbhawar at a cost of Rs 11 lakh 48 thousand. Minister Mr. Akbar congratulated and best wishes to the villagers for the new building.
