This is how natural paint is made from cow dung
Some women of the group have been trained to make paint from cow dung in Jaipur, Rajasthan, here they were duly informed about the construction. In the process of making paint from cow dung, first mix cow dung and water. It is mixed thoroughly by pouring into the machine and then filtered through a fine mesh to remove insoluble matter. Then it is bleached using some chemicals and goes through the process of steam. After that a substance called CMS is obtained. It is being made products in the form of distemper and emulsion. Different paint products can be taken in required quantity from the paint unit installed at Ripa Gauthan Majhgawan. Its average daily productive capacity is around 500 litres.
