    The women of Akaltari village of Bilaspur district are full of confidence these days. She is not going to ask for employment, she is giving employment to people. With Ripa, his dream has come true. He has started his work in such an area where the demand was high but the supply was not available. This area was of kettle feed. The women of village Akaltari started this venture and the order came in so much that they have work to do. Winds of development are blowing in the rural areas. The dreams of women and youth are now turning into reality. Along with Mrs. Aarti Dhivar, 7 other women of the group are associated with this activity.
    Animal feed manufacturing unit has been established under RIPA in Akaltari village. This activity, conducted to meet the ever-increasing demand for cattle feed by the milk-producing cattle rearers of the area, has provided employment to rural women. Under the technical guidance of the Animal Husbandry Department, the group started the work of manufacturing balanced animal feed of high quality and selling it to the cattle rearers of the area. So far, 172 quintal animal feed has been manufactured by this women’s group, in which it has sold Rs 4 lakh 30. At present, an order of 100 quintal animal feed has also been received. Animal feed is prepared by mixing corn porridge, wheat porridge, cotton cake, whip cake, calcium and vitamin powder, mustard cake and jaggery syrup etc. in this unit. The per month manufacturing capacity of this unit is 400 to 1500 quintals.
    It is noteworthy that Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel had also appreciated the activities conducted in Akaltari Ripa during his meeting program on May 12. Ripa provided direct employment to rural women as well as made them economically empowered and led them in the path of becoming self-reliant.
