The popularity of the Mitan scheme was so much that as soon as the Chief Minister tweeted, more than 1,000 people contacted to get ration cards made.

Going round the civic bodies to get ration cards is now a thing of the past. Eligible beneficiaries will now get ration card sitting at home. On Friday, on the instructions of the Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, the ration card has been included in the Mitan scheme. Chief Minister Mr. Baghel himself gave this information to the people of the state by tweeting. The Chief Minister wrote that he is happy to inform all of you that now we have decided to include the ration card in the Mitan scheme. Now to get ration card made, Mitan has to be called home by calling 14545 sitting at home. Mitan Yojana Mitan Yojana has become so popular among the citizens that after tweeting by the Chief Minister, more than 1,000 people contacted the said number to get ration cards made.
About 90,000 documents have been delivered to homes so far – Government facilities are being made available to people sitting at home in urban areas under Chhattisgarh’s Mukhyamantri Mitan Yojana. Under the scheme, so far more than 90 thousand citizens have received their necessary government documents while sitting at home. Under the Mukhyamantri Mitan Yojana, so far more than 1 lakh 89 thousand citizens have obtained information regarding obtaining government documents by contacting Mitan Yojana’s toll free number 14545. Under the direction of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel and by the Urban Administration Development Department, the home access service ‘Mukhyamantri Mitan Yojana’ was started from May 01, 2022 in all the 14 municipal corporations of the state to get government documents made.
These services are available sitting at home –Now ration card will also be available sitting at home in the services received under the Mitan scheme. Till now Birth Certificate, Correction in Birth Certificate, Death Certificate, Correction in Death Certificate, Native Certificate, Marriage Registration and Certificate, Income Certificate, OBC Certificate, SC, ST Certificate Documents related to shop and establishment registration, copy of land record, land information (land use), Aadhaar card registration, (for children up to 5 years) correction of address and mobile number in Aadhaar card, application form for obtaining PAN number , PAN update and duplicate etc. services can be obtained from the Mitan service from the comfort of your home. With this service people get labor, Time and money are being saved, as well as getting rid of the rounds of government offices to get the certificates. In fact, civic facilities have expanded in Chhattisgarh through the Mitan scheme and citizens are getting government facilities from the services of Mitan while sitting at home.
This is how the process happens – To get benefited from Mukhyamantri Mitan Yojana, the applicant calls the toll free number 14545 for the service of Mitan. After this the appointment is booked. After booking an appointment the applicant receives an SMS with the booking details. After this, Mitan reaches the applicant’s house on the fixed time and date and receives the necessary documents. Upon reaching home, Mitan verifies the documents through the tablet and uploads them on the portal. The verified documents are then sent online to the concerned departments who issue the certificate after reviewing the documents pertaining to the applicant. After the certificate is issued, the certificate is delivered to the applicant’s house by the Mitan agent.
