Health Minister Shri T.S. Singhdev and the health department team that went on a study tour to Australia with him reached Parramatta, a city adjacent to Sydney. Mr. Sameer Pandey, the Indian-origin Mayor of Harris Park ‘Little India’, a suburb located in the western part of Australia, welcomed the team there. Health Minister Shri Singhdeo and officials discussed with him the status of primary health care in Australia. The team discussed with Dr. Easwar during their visit to the Primary Health Care Center in Parramatta and inquired about the primary health services provided in Australia. The state team briefed him about the healthcare delivery in Chhattisgarh.
Discussion on opportunities available to dentist and nursing students in Australia
During the discussion with the Mayor of Parramatta, Health Minister Mr. Singhdev discussed the opportunities, career options and possibilities for the students of dentists and nursing there. He also discussed about the overseas research and employment opportunities available to dentist and nursing students in Australia.
