Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel attended a one-day workshop at the Bastar division level of Mahatma Gandhi Rural Industrial Park (RIPA) at Shaheed Gundadhur Agricultural College and Research Center Kumhrawand Jagdalpur here today.
Under RIPA, this park has been established in rural areas to provide employment to the people of rural areas through various types of activities and production. Under the scheme, amount has been approved at the rate of Rs 2 crore per industrial park. Participants from Bastar, Dantewada, Bijapur, Narayanpur, Kanker Sukma, and Kondagaon districts of Bastar division participated.
The Chief Minister appreciated the efforts being made by the women self-help groups associated with RIPA to become self-reliant.
