Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel today reached village Chirra under Rampur Vidhansabha of Korba district under the meeting program. The Chief Minister praised the skill of women while observing the activities conducted in the Rural Industrial Park (RIPA) here and said that RIPA will prove to be important in making the rural economy strong and self-reliant. Seeing the activities being conducted by the women of the village, it is felt that their income will increase in the coming times. He took a selfie with the women of the group here and said that women have now become strong, not abla.
Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel observed the activities being conducted in Ripa. They made turmeric, chillies, spices, gram flour, flour, fragrant rice, pickles, badi, incense sticks, dona pattal manufacturing, sandal, cow dung paint, ash bricks, paver block manufacturing, putty manufacturing, Closely observed the activities like fencing construction etc. During this, while discussing with the members of women self-help groups, he also took information about the activities conducted by them. Keeping in view the possibilities of tourism here, he gave instructions to the Collector Mr. Sanjeev Kumar Jha to operate Gadkaleva and Coffee Point. While encouraging the members of the group here, the Chief Minister also encouraged them. Divyang Lalita Rathia of village Chirra also informed the Chief Minister about the activities of RIPA and the group. Orders have been received from Rural Engineering Department and Tribal Department for turmeric, chili spice, dona pattal, gram flour, flour, bricks. An order for 7,000 liters of cow dung paint was also received from the Rural Engineering Department. An order of two thousand slippers has also been received from the Tribal Development Department. So far there has been a net profit of 2 lakh 15 thousand. Goods worth more than 6 lakhs produced in various economic activities have been sold.
