Chief Minister Mr. Baghel said that today the farmers of Chhattisgarh are in the best condition in the whole country. Today, an amount of more than Rs 02 thousand 28 crore has been transferred to the accounts of farmers and laborers under various justice schemes. The first installment of Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana has been sent to more than 24 lakh farmers. During this, the Chief Minister asked the farmers whether you have received the message of getting the money or not. The farmers replied in affirmative and greeted the Chief Minister by shaking hands. Mr. Baghel further said that now we have decided to buy 20 quintal paddy per acre. We give the amount directly to the accounts of the beneficiaries so that they get direct benefits. We have made 72 lakh ration cards and have provided relief to the people through the electricity bill half scheme. Forest produce collectors are getting fair price for their produce. We are serving mother cow and serving mother earth by adding organic manure. This land is our Chhattisgarh Mahtari. We will not allow any kind of deficiency in its service. Be it Gariyaband, Mohalla Manpur, Tendupatta collectors should not face any kind of problem. This we are ensuring. We are doing value addition of forest produce. The Chief Minister said that we have decided to start the University of Horticulture and Forestry in the name of Mahatma Gandhi and today Bhumi Pujan was done for various buildings of this university to be constructed at a cost of Rs 120 crore. We are also organizing Ramayana Mahotsav and developing places associated with Guru Ghasidas ji. Assembly Speaker Dr. Charandas Mahant, presiding over the programme, said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, the state government is working to make the dreams of late Mr. Rajiv Gandhi come true. The village is developing the poor as per the dreams of Gandhiji. On this occasion, former Union Minister Ms. Shailja Kumari said that smile is visible on the faces of people everywhere in Chhattisgarh, seeing which it seems that the dream of late Rajiv ji has come true. The prosperity that has come in Chhattisgarh, The trust that people have built. It is a hard earned trust. Many days of hard work is behind this. Here the son of the soil, the son of the farmer has fulfilled the dream of prosperity of the people. On this occasion, Home Minister Mr. Tamradhwaj Sahu, Forest and Climate Change Minister Mr. Mohammad Akbar, MLA Mr. Mohan Markam also addressed the gathering. School Education Minister Dr. Premsai Singh Tekam, Urban Administration Minister Dr. Shiv Kumar Dahria, PHE Minister Shri Guru Rudrakumar, Women and Child Development Minister Smt. Foundation stone of Mahatma Gandhi Horticulture and Forestry University building – The Chief Minister today laid the foundation stone of the buildings of Mahatma Gandhi Horticulture and Forestry University, to be constructed at a cost of Rs 120 crore in village Sankra of Patan. 14 government and 4 non-government colleges are running under this university. On this occasion, he also observed the blue print of the university.

Transfer of Rs 2028 crore 92 lakh for justice schemes – On this occasion, the Chief Minister transferred the amount of justice schemes. Under the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana, the first installment of Rs 1894 crore 93 lakh was transferred to 24 lakh 52 thousand farmers. An amount of Rs 112 crore 71 lakh was transferred to the accounts of 5 lakh 63 thousand beneficiaries under the Rajiv Gandhi Gramin Bhumihin Krishi Mazdoor Nyay Yojana. Similarly, Rs 13 crore 57 lakh was paid to cattle herders, Gauthan committees and self-help groups under the Godhan Nyaya Yojana. Rs 7 crore 71 lakh was distributed to 3085 clubs of 13 districts under the Rajiv Gandhi Yuva Mitan Club.
