Mahatma Gandhi Rural Industrial Park (RIPA), constructed at a cost of Rs. 2 crores in village Kurmigundra, at a conference of trust organized in village Sankra of Patan development block of Durg district, on the occasion of the death anniversary of former Prime Minister late Shri Rajiv Gandhi, Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel Will inaugurate Healthy snacks manufacturing unit, goat rearing unit and nursery unit have been set up in this rural industrial park developed in an area of ​​about three acres.

In Kurmigundra Ripa, two dome sheds, two toilets for men and women, approach road, boundary wall have been constructed all around. An administrative area has been constructed inside RIPA, in which kiosk for banking facility, Wi-Fi connection for internet facility and help desk has been made for information about state government schemes. A statue of the Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi has been installed in the center of the RIPA campus.

The work of preparing instant premix, instant millet premix, multimillets flours, energy bars is being done by the youth in the healthy snacks manufacturing unit established here. The products manufactured here are being sold by Sarvada Life Industries. A commercial market will be created for marketing the products, in which products will be sold through dealers, wholesalers and retailers. Along with this, according to the demand of the local market, other varieties of healthy snacks will be manufactured in this unit in the near future. New products will also be given place in the goat rearing unit and nursery unit established in Ripa.

Along with Rozgar Gudi, the main dome of this Rural Industrial Park, employment opportunities are also being provided to the youth in the service sector. At present about 70 youths are employed in Kurmigundra Ripa. Products will also be sold through online marketing and nearby shopkeepers. Along with this, the finished products are also being supplied to the government departments so that their future can be made better and prosperous from the economic point of view by providing employment guarantee to the workers working by ensuring the consumption of the product.
