Tribute will be given to the martyrs of Jhiram Valley in all government and semi-government offices

On the occasion of Jhiram Tribute Day, tribute will be paid to the people’s representatives, security forces personnel and all the people who were martyred in Naxal violence in present and past years in Jhiram Valley in all government-semi-government offices of the state. The state government has decided to celebrate May 25 every year as Jheeram Tribute Day.
Like every year, this year too, two minutes silence will be observed in all the government and semi-government offices in the memory of the martyrs on Jhiram Ghati Tribute Day. Officers-employees will also be administered oath in the tribute program to make the state an island of peace again. In connection with the celebration of Jheeram Ghati Tribute Day, the General Administration Department, Government of Chhattisgarh has sent a letter to all the departments of the state, the chairman of the revenue board, all the heads of departments, divisional commissioners and collectors.
