Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel today participated in the launching ceremony of ‘Nashamukt Chhattisgarh Abhiyan’ organized by Prajapita Brahmakumari Ishwariya Vishwavidyalaya at Shanti Sarovar in the capital Raipur under Nashamukt Bharat Abhiyan. Chief Minister Mr. Baghel inaugurated the ceremony by lighting the lamp. MLA Mr. Satyanarayan Sharma, Home Secretary Mr. Arun Dev Gautam, Dr. Sachin Parab of Prajapita Brahmakumari Ishwariya Vishwavidyalaya, Dr. Banarasi Lal Shah, Brahmakumari Hemlata, Usha Behen were present on this occasion.

Addressing the function, Chief Minister Mr. Baghel said that ‘Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan’ started by Prajapita Brahmakumari Ishwariya Vishwavidyalaya is a commendable initiative towards building the society. Let us all have a great participation in making the ‘drug-free Chhattisgarh’ campaign being run in this sequence a success.

Chief Minister Mr. Baghel said that drug addiction usually starts from childhood or youth. First they start drinking as a hobby, which gradually becomes a habit. It dissolves bitterness in life. Drug addiction is a big social evil, which is very harmful for all of us physically and mentally. It affects the person, the family and the society as a whole. Running an awareness campaign with social solidarity is a good option for de-addiction.

Calling upon the people present at the function, Chief Minister Mr. Baghel said that we should get intoxicated with the service of humanity because its intoxication is the biggest. In front of whom every intoxication is left behind.

On this occasion, under the leadership of Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, all the people present in the ceremony took a pledge to make Chhattisgarh drug free. The Chief Minister congratulated the Brahma Kumari Divine University for drug-free India campaign and also assured cooperation from the government. He also inaugurated the Jhanda Kalash Yatra of the campaign passengers for all the districts of the state for drug-free Chhattisgarh campaign under the drug-free India campaign being run under the MOU between the Union Ministry of Social Justice Empowerment, Government of India and Prajapita Brahmakumari Ishwariya Vishwavidyalaya. .
