Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel presented the Integrated Command and Control Center at Tarbahar to the people of Bilaspur city during his meet-meet program today. The Chief Minister closely observed the control system of the city’s traffic system at the centre. He also presented an e-challan machine as a token to the traffic police on the occasion.
The command and control center has been prepared by Bilaspur Smart Limited under the ITMS project at a cost of 73 crore 41 lakhs, in which urban traffic will be managed systematically. Through 523 modern cameras, the security system of the city will be monitored. The challan will directly reach the house of those who break the traffic rules. Along with this, monitoring will be done through the control center from the security point of view.
Under the plan, city traffic and other things will be monitored through 523 cameras in 43 locations in the city, in which 208 surveillance cameras, 212 automatic number plate read (NPR) special cameras and 108 evidence cameras have been installed. Apart from 22 Chowk intersections, cameras have been installed at other major places of the city. Special traffic signals and public address system (sound) have also been installed at 22 Chowk intersections under the scheme. Along with this, smart LED boards have also been installed at ten major places of the city under the public address system.
With the implementation of this scheme, no one will be able to break the traffic rules and if someone breaks the traffic rules, then the e-challan will automatically reach him by tracing through the camera. Along with this, along with sending an alert message to the vehicles parked on the wrong side or no parking, challan action can also be taken.
Apart from this, this plan is also very important from the point of view of security, surveillance can be done through cameras installed in different parts of the city. Even in times of disaster, better work can be done through this system. Arrangements can be made through this system for any emergency. Under the ITMS project, an integrated command and control room has been set up by Bilaspur Smart City Limited in Tarbahar police station premises to monitor and control the traffic system and other arrangements through special cameras installed across the city. The entire city will be monitored from here. Apart from this, an interim center of Integrated Command and Control Center has been prepared in the second floor of the Smart City office under the ITMS project.

Apart from the ground floor, three more floors have been built in the Integrated Command and Control Room built in about 40,000 square feet area in Tarbahar police station premises, from which the command and control room will operate from the ground to the second floor. The office of Cyber Cell of Police Department will be operated in the third floor. In command and control room, display room, server room, backup room, meeting hall, conference hall and technical room, apart from this training room has also been prepared.
