A total of 3,37,559 candidates were registered in the High School Certificate Main Examination year 2023 organized by the Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education. Of these, 3,30,681 candidates appeared in the examination, out of which 1,52,891 boys and 1,77,790 girls appeared, out of which the results of 3,30,055 candidates were declared. That is, total 75.05 percent of the candidates passed, the percentage of girls passed is 79.16 and the percentage of boys is 70.26. Out of the declared exam results, the total number of candidates passed is 2,58,500, that is, 79.96 percent of the total candidates passed, the percentage of girls passed is 83.84 and the percentage of boys is 75.36. Among the included candidates, the number of candidates passed in the first division is 87,140 (26.96 percent), the number of candidates passed in the second division is 1,45,965 (45.15 percent) and the number of candidates passed in the third division is 25,377 (7.85 percent). A total of 2,87,673 candidates appeared in the Higher Secondary School Certificate Main Examination in the year 2022, out of which 129,213 boys and 1,58,460 girls appeared. According to the orders of Chhattisgarh Government School Education Department, 1,286 students in high school examination and 1,913 students in higher secondary have been given bonus marks in non-academic activities, totaling 3,199 students. In the year 2022, 1571 students in the high school examination and 1643 in the higher secondary examination were awarded bonus marks to a total of 3,214 students.
