Youth, children and elders are taking training with enthusiasm in Aakar-2023, a training camp on traditional arts organized by the Culture Department. It is worth noting that like every year, this year also ‘Traditional Crafts and Various Arts Training Camp Aakar-2023’ is being organized by the Department of Culture for the protection, promotion, awareness and interest in people towards traditional crafts and arts, Raipur. Mahant Ghasidas Smarak Museum located in Civil Lines has started from 01 May. The training program will continue till May 19.

     Officials of the Culture Department said that the participants registered in ‘Aakar-2023’ will be given opportunities in Mural Art, Papermaking, Clay Art, Wood, Bamboo Craft and Sculpture, Painting, Madhubani Art, Patachitra, Paddy Jewellery, Dry Flower, Glass Painting, Tattoo Art, Para Art, Terracotta, Rajwar Bhatti, Classical Dance, Drama, Folk Dance, Jute Craft, Mehndi Art, Gobar Art, Warli Art, Pichhwai Art, Sand Art, Mandala Art, Mandana Art, Gond Art, Soura Art, Sketch Painting, Canvas Training is being imparted in painting, bonsai art, musical instrument training and making techniques.

After the training, on the day of completion, the artefacts and goods made by the trainees will be displayed in the campus and certificates will also be provided.
