Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel transferred an amount of Rs 16 crore to the accounts of 66 thousand 256 beneficiaries found eligible for unemployment allowance scheme in a program organized at the Chief Minister’s residence office on Sunday. 2500 rupees were transferred to the accounts of these beneficiaries, which will be given every month.
Addressing the youth in a virtual program, the Chief Minister said that the amount of allowance will be useful for all of you in higher education, preparation for competitive exams and during training. We have made an action plan for proper employment arrangements for all of you. The Chief Minister said that all of you are very self-respecting, as you are preparing for competitive exams or preparing yourself for self-employment. You will be able to get support from this monthly allowance for the necessary expenses during this period.
The Chief Minister said that as discussed with the youth, everyone has many dreams regarding the future. They need some time to fulfill those dreams. They want to share the burden of their family. Now they will not only be able to fulfill their small needs. Along with this, we will also prepare ourselves for proper employment.
The Chief Minister said that the application for unemployment allowance is very simple, for this only online application has to be made. The amount goes through DBT. In one month we have transferred more than Rs 16 crores. Earlier its eligibility rules were very tough, now it is simple. Those earning up to Rs 2.5 lakh are eligible. I am distributing this amount today but true happiness will come when you will get employment. For this also an action plan has been made for 6 months. There is also a complete arrangement for your training. Our preparations for recruitment are complete.
The Chief Minister praised the Skill Development, Technical Education and Employment Department for this work. The Chief Minister said that the budget was passed on March 24 and started taking online applications from April 1. Funds have been transferred to 67 thousand people today. It was very difficult to do such a big job within a month. How to get the job done in record time. This is the biggest example of this. We will make better use of the money given by you. The Chief Minister said that you are working towards providing employment to all. Ishwari Sahu associated with Raigarh said that I am studying PGDCA. Mother sews. Father is a teacher in a private school. Salary is very less. I will get a lot of relief for further studies. The Chief Minister said that we have greatly relaxed the eligibility of unemployment allowance, a large number of youth have benefited from this.
Komal from Korea told that I am doing M.Sc. I want to become a teacher in future. Komal told that she will use this amount for her studies. Aishwarya Sahu of Durg told that she has done B.Ed. Now I will study further. Many forms come for employment, I will fill them. Aishwarya also showed her SMS to the Chief Minister in which the allowance amount came from DBT. The Chief Minister expressed happiness. Priyanka Paikra of Surguja told that I will prepare for competitive exams with this money. I promise you that I will become Deputy Collector, Collector. The Chief Minister said that the aim of this is that all of you get a chance to prepare for employment, get training. Now you will be able to fulfill your dreams.
