Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, who went for a meeting in the Raipur Dakshin Vidhan Sabha in the capital Raipur today, offered prayers at the Jaitu Sav Math. He visited the Hanuman Baoli located nearby. The Chief Minister also inaugurated the Heritage Walk development work at Jaitu Sav Math. Raipur Smart City Limited has developed infrastructure facilities along with beautification of historical and religious heritage of the old township area at a cost of Rs one crore 90 lakh under Heritage Walk development works. Minister in-charge of Raipur district Mr. Ravindra Choubey, Chairman of Gauseva Commission Mahant Mr. Ramsunder Das, Mayor Mr. Ejaz Dhebar and Chairman of Raipur Municipal Corporation Mr. Pramod Dubey were also present during this period.
On reaching Purani Basti, Chief Minister Mr. Baghel, who came out for a meeting, was warmly welcomed by the local residents by garlanding him, applying tilak and performing aarti. The Chief Minister visited Hanuman Baoli here and offered prayers. He also offered prayers at the historic Hanuman temple adjacent to the Baoli. Anganwadi workers and assistants welcomed the Chief Minister in the Baoli premises by applying tilak, performing aarti and presenting gamchha and quince. He thanked the Chief Minister for increasing the honorarium. He also felicitated the Chief Minister by presenting mementos.
Chief Minister Mr. Baghel wished for the happiness and prosperity of the state by worshiping Lord Shri Ram, Mother Sita and Laxman at Jaitu Sav Math in Purani Basti. He also worshiped Radha-Krishna and Hanuman seated here. The Chief Minister paid floral tributes to the statue of the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi, established in the premises of Jaitu Saav Math, which was the center of the freedom movement. Mahant Shri Ramsunder Das, Chairman of Gauseva Ayog and the administrators of the Math welcomed the Chief Minister by presenting him with garlands, shawls and quinces.
