Sixth Foundation Day of Chhattisgarh Yoga Commission on 25th April

On the occasion of the sixth foundation day of Chhattisgarh Yoga Commission, on April 25, a one-day group special yoga practice program was organized from 6 am to 7 am at Subhash Stadium in the capital Raipur. About 1500 people participated in it and did group yoga. After the yoga session, an awareness rally (walking tour) was taken out from 7 am to make people aware of healthy lifestyle and yoga. This awareness rally started from Subhash Stadium via Shastri Chowk, Jai Stambh Chowk to City Kotwali, and ended back at Subhash Stadium.

Expressing gratitude to the Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel for making available the building at Fundhar free of cost to the citizens for providing free yoga centers and regular training programs to the citizens, the Chairman of the Yoga Commission Mr. Gyanesh Sharma said that the Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel Along with publicity, the Yoga Commission has been entrusted with the important responsibility of making people disease-free by returning to a healthy lifestyle. The Yoga Commission is continuously making efforts in this direction. With the cooperation of the Municipal Corporation, an atmosphere conducive to yoga has been created in the state. More than 40 free yoga practice centers have been started in urban areas. On the announcement of Chief Minister Mr. Baghel, Yog Bhavan has started in Fundhar last year. Here, from April 24, seven-day divisional level training is being given to yoga seekers by yoga experts. This will create qualified yoga trainers and instructors,
Former Minister and MLA Raipur Rural Mr. Satyanarayan Sharma, Chairman of Chhattisgarh State Housing Board Mr. Kuldeep Juneja and Mayor Raipur Mr. Ejaz Dhebar said that awareness about Yoga has increased in Chhattisgarh due to the activeness of the Yoga Commission. People are seen doing yoga early in the morning in every public place. He urged people to adopt regular yoga in daily life to stay healthy. He said that all possible cooperation will be done to facilitate the practice of yoga by the citizens.
