Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel will inaugurate the three-day Mata Kaushalya Mahotsav at Chandkhuri on April 22. Kaushalya Mata Mahotsav will be organized from April 22 to April 24 at Chandkhuri in Arang assembly constituency. Culture Minister Shri Amarjit Bhagat will preside over the inauguration program of the festival. Tourism Minister Mr. Tamradhwaj Sahu, Agriculture Minister and in-charge of Raipur district Mr. Ravindra Choubey, Urban Administration Minister Dr. Shivkumar Dahria and all ministers, MPs, parliamentary secretaries, MLAs, Corporation Board, Commission, District as special guests in this program. The President and Vice President of the Panchayat and the President of the Nagar Panchayat will be involved.
It is worth mentioning that the state government has organized Mata Kaushalya Mahotsav for the promotion of art, culture and tourism of the state and for women empowerment, protection of working artists, promotion and continuous development of art groups, to establish the splendor of Mata Kaushalya’s birthplace Chandkhuri on the world stage. A grand event is being organized. This is the only temple of Kaushalya Mata located in Chhattisgarh.

From April 22, the first day of the festival, devotional song-music bhajan by Madhuri Mahila Manas Mandali, Smt. Presentation will be given.

On the second day of the festival, Veena Vadini Manas family, Smt. Dance drama and Shri Prabhanjan Chaturvedi Bhilai will present devotional songs and music bhajan program.
Assembly Speaker Mr. Charandas Mahant will attend the program as the chief guest on the second day of the festival on April 23. Culture Minister Mr. Amarjeet Bhagat will preside over the program. On the third day of the festival, Pragya Mahila Manas Parivar, Mrs. Kumudini Chandravanshi of Kurud Silyari, Mr. Devesh Sharma Raigarh Devotional Geet Sangeet Bhajan and Ms. Trupti Shakya Devotional Geet Sangeet Bhajan from Mumbai will be presented.
