In view of the scorching heat and heat wave-like conditions in Chhattisgarh, an order has been issued to change the timing of schools. According to the order issued, the schools running in the same shift will now start from 7 am to 11 am. In schools where classes are conducted in two shifts, classes for primary and middle classes will be held from 7 am to 11 am.

High school and higher secondary classes will be held from 11 am to 3 pm. This order issued by the Education Department will be effective from 20 to 30 April. Decision has been taken to save students and teachers from scorching heat and heat stroke. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel’s appeal

Issuing the order for the changed timing of the schools, the CM appealed by tweeting that in view of the scorching heat in the state, it has been decided to change the operating time of all government/non-government schools and educational institutions. And take care of your children.

Before this order was issued for Raipur

On the other hand, the school timings in Raipur were changed before April 5. Schools are opening from 7.30 am from 5th April. This decision was taken due to the rising heat. An order in this regard was issued by District Education Officer GL Thakur.

This year it will be hotter than usual

Earlier, the Meteorological Department had said that from June to April this year, the temperature will be above normal in most parts of the country. At the same time, the heat wave will also be more than normal in the Central, East and North-West parts.

Yesterday the temperature crossed 44 degree in the country, got some relief today

In Chhattisgarh, the temperature crossed 44 degrees on Tuesday. The hottest district in the state was Balodabazar, where the temperature was recorded at 44.1 degree Celsius. Same was the condition in other districts including the capital Raipur. Although today people have definitely got some relief from the heat, but the temperature is beyond 40 degrees. According to the updated information of the Meteorological Department, the temperature of Raipur district was 40.2 degree Celsius today.

Durg district’s temperature was 40.6 degree Celsius. The temperature in Rajnandgaon was recorded at 40.5 degree Celsius. Apart from this, the temperature was 36.2 degrees in Jagdalpur and 36.2 degrees in Pendra. Ambikapur recorded a temperature of 36 degree Celsius. People are being advised by the experts to avoid going out of the house during strong sunlight and if it is necessary to go out of the house, then make full arrangements to avoid the sun.
