Farmers of 14 villages will be benefited
 by the efforts of Minister Mr. Mohammad Akbar, approval of 69.76 crores

Due to the special efforts of Forest Minister Mr. Mohammad Akbar, administrative approval of Rs 69 crore 76 lakh has been received from the government for the construction work of Jagmadwa reservoir scheme of Sahaspur Lohara development block of Kabirdham district. Earlier, for the expansion of irrigation facility in Kawardha Vidhansabha, approval of Rs 12 crore was received for the construction of Ghathola reservoir. The farmers of the area are happy with the approval of irrigation schemes and farmers’ organizations have thanked Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, Forest Minister Mr. Mohammad Akbar, Water Resources Minister Mr. Ravindra Choubey for this.
It is noteworthy that Minister Mr. Akbar is meeting the people of the area regarding the vision of proper development of the district. Ministers are meeting the demands, problems and complaints related to development by setting up Jan Choupal in the area, and are also taking meaningful initiatives to complete the proper development works of the area on priority as per public aspirations.
Due to the efforts of Minister Mr. Mohammad Akbar, receiving more than Rs 69 crore 76 lakh for the Jagmadwa Reservoir Scheme has opened the way for fulfillment of the much-awaited demand of the farmers. With the construction of Jagmadwa reservoir scheme, irrigation facility will be available in 1820 hectare area. The farmers of Sahaspur Lohara development block had placed a demand for the construction of Jagmadwa reservoir in front of Minister Mohammad Akbar for the progress of agriculture in the area. Giving full importance to the demands of the farmers, Minister Mr. Mohammad Akbar visited the proposed site of the Jagmadwa Reservoir Scheme and inspected it. In the presence of farmers, citizens being affected by this scheme, water resources department, Had taken a meeting of the officials of the revenue department. He had also directed to provide space to the displaced citizens. Due to this, the obstacle in the construction of Jagmadwa Reservoir Scheme was removed. Minister Mr. Mohammad Akbar had made a special request to Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel and Water Resources Minister for approval of the scheme. After getting administrative approval for this project, this scheme will prove to be a big boon for agriculture in the area.
Thousands of farmers of 14 villages will get direct benefit
from the construction of Jagmadwa Reservoir, the way for the progress of agriculture will open and the farmers will be financially strong. Thousands of farmers of villages Chhotupara, Singhrapara, Kutkipara, Mahratola, Bandhatola, Jarhatola, Amgaon, Dhangaon, Bano, Dalsatola, Namgaon, Belhari, Pipertola, Tilaibhath will get direct benefit from the construction of Jagmadwa reservoir.

The series of development works increasing in Kabirdham district due to the efforts of the minister  
As per the intention of Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, with the efforts of Minister Mr. Mohammad Akbar, the series of development works of Kabirdham district is continuously increasing in the last years. With the untiring efforts of Minister Akbar, the dream of opening a medical college in Kabirdham district has been fulfilled. For the convenience of the farmers of the district, Tees Sewa Co-operative Society has been reconstituted, whose number has now increased from 60 to 90. Similarly, 90 paddy purchase centers have been increased to 107. Expanding the banking facilities in the district, new branches of the District Cooperative Bank have been opened at Taregaon Jungle, Rengakhar, and Rabeli. A high level bridge has been constructed over the Sakri river on the Kawardha-Jabalpur road. Whose traffic has now become easy. In Kawardha Vidhansabha, Rs 12 crore has been sanctioned for the construction of Ghatola reservoir while expanding irrigation facilities for the farmers. With the construction of Ghatola Reservoir scheme, irrigation facility will be available in 190 hectare Kharif and 50 hectare Rabi, in a total area of ​​240 hectare. Due to the efforts of Minister Mr. Akbar, along with proper development in Kawardha assembly constituency, there has been expansion in the field of basic facilities, electricity, water, roads, irrigation expansion, and education.
