Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel will unveil the life-size statue of martyr Nandkumar Patel installed at Pandri Oxygen Zone in capital Raipur on April 17 in the evening. A life-size statue of Shaheed Nandkumar Patel has been installed by Raipur Smart City Limited at Pandri near Oxygen Zone. Made of Panchdhatu 400 Kg. The height of this idol is 9 feet. Apart from the attractive lighting arrangement, a mini garden has also been prepared for the beautification of this idol site. Along with the seating arrangement, this place has been beautified with red sand stone. The total cost of this work is Rs 80 lakh.
Martyr Nandkumar Patel, the son of Chhattisgarh, who always spread his aura in the rich, sociable and social-political scenario of multi-faceted personality, was born on 08 November 1953 in village Nandeli of Raigarh. Basically, the glimpse of typical Chhattisgarhi rituals was clearly visible in the mind, deeds and words of Mr. Patel, who belonged to the farming family. The glimpse of his good efforts to connect the village with prosperity, progress and resources is visible not only in his village Nandeli, but also in every region where Mr. From village sarpanch to cabinet minister and all other high-ranking positions, he always enhanced the prestige of the post with his honesty, hard work and ease.
Mr. Patel was elected MLA from Kharsia Vidhansabha 05 times. You were a respected member in the cabinet of undivided Madhya Pradesh and you have the distinction of being the first Home Minister of the state after the formation of Chhattisgarh. With the ultimate goal of upliftment of the last person of the society, Mr. Patel always remained highly respected politically and socially. On May 25, 2013, Mr. Patel was martyred in a Naxalite attack in Jhiram Valley.
