More than 84 lakh patients were treated in the state

Health facilities are rapidly reaching rural areas of Chhattisgarh, especially in hilly and inaccessible areas. The health department staff is providing better health facilities through Haat Bazar clinics. More than 1 lakh 50 thousand hot market clinics have been organized in the rural areas of the state. More than 84 lakh patients have got direct benefit from these events. Along with treatment, people are getting free medicines and pathology facilities in the clinics being organized by the health department in the hot markets. Under the scheme, people are being treated in remote areas through 429 dedicated branding vehicles and medical teams in the state.
Chhattisgarh government’s flagship scheme Mukhyamantri Haat Bazar Clinic Yojana is benefitting people living in Bastar-Surguja and other inaccessible and inaccessible areas of the state. While on the one hand this scheme is continuously monitoring the nutrition of women and children, on the other hand the malaria eradication campaign in Bastar has gained momentum. This scheme is also proving effective for checking the nutritional level of women and children and prevention of malnutrition in these areas.

Similarly, Mr. Ramnarayan, who is suffering from BP problems, says that he has high blood pressure, due to which he was suffering a lot. In Bastar zone too, a large number of villagers are taking advantage of the Haat Bazar Clinic scheme. Dr. Duleshwar Dani, who arrived for treatment at the Haat-Bazar Clinic of Paknar village of Bastar district, said that with this scheme, pregnant mothers and infants will be examined and vaccinated, infectious and non-infectious diseases, eye diseases, malnutrition, skin diseases, diabetes, Advice related to TV, high blood pressure and family planning is being given. Mrs. Lodi, who has set up a shop in Katenar market itself, told that she is getting the benefit of the Haat Bazar clinic. She gets her BP checkup done at the Haat Bazaar clinic itself, where she is also given medicines free of cost.
Local language experts are in the health team
Beneficiaries told that the villagers do not have to go to the city for minor diseases and their tests. Appropriate health counseling is given during the checkup. Apart from this, there is also an ambulance facility which is used for emergency like situation. To provide health facilities to the people in Surguja, Bastar zone, the help of doctors and paramedical staff conversant with the local dialect is being taken.
