Chief Secretary reviewed the works of Housing and Environment, Transport and Food Department

Chief Secretary Mr. Amitabh Jain reviewed the schemes of Housing and Environment, Transport and Food Department in order of priority planning of the government at Mantralaya Mahanadi Bhawan here today. Additional Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister Shri Subrata Sahu attended the meeting.
The Chief Secretary said that under the One Nation One Ration Card scheme, it should be ensured that there is no inconvenience to the beneficiaries taking ration. For this, the beneficiaries should be benefited under the portability facility. The Chief Secretary said that all necessary arrangements should be made to make ration easily available to all the beneficiaries coming to the public distribution system’s ration shops in urban areas. Officials of the Food Department told that under One Nation One Ration Card, the beneficiaries of Chhattisgarh who have gone to other states for some work are getting ration there. Similarly, the beneficiaries of other states who have come to Chhattisgarh for some work are being provided ration here. In the meeting, facility of testing of samples of biodiesel is being done in the laboratory of Chhattisgarh Biodiesel Development Authority in the state. Similarly, facility of ethanol fuel testing at Lakhauli and Korba of Indian Oil
During the review of the Housing and Environment Department, the Chief Secretary said that the applications received for regularization of illegal constructions should be verified in time and the applications should be made online. Action should be taken within the time-limit on cases of approval of layout and building permission up to five thousand square feet in the investment area. He gave necessary instructions to the officials regarding the use of EWS land. In the meeting, instructions were given to NRDA officials to speed up various construction works of Seva Gram being built on the lines of Wardha in memory of Mahatma Gandhi in Nava Raipur. Similarly, the construction works being done under the Sirpur Development Authority were reviewed in detail. Energy parks to be built for the tourists coming here, Discussion was held regarding the coordinated development being developed for archeology and tourism including Shilp Gram. In the meeting, the officers of Nava Raipur Development Authority were directed to speed up the work of development of Aerocity and prepare an action plan to develop Aerocity near Swami Vivekananda Airport for promotion of passenger convenience in Raipur Airport, commercial development and employment generation. Similarly, information was taken from NRDA officials regarding the inclusion of various innovative works in Nava Raipur under the Smart City scheme. During the review of the Transport Department, instructions were given to do necessary work to prevent the deterioration of various roads due to overloading of vehicles. Similarly, by marking such places where overloading vehicles come out, the officers of the Transport Department should be required to use CCTV and Dharmakanta there.
In the meeting, Secretary to the Chief Minister, Mr. Ankit Anand, Secretary, Food and Civil Supplies, Mr. Topeshwar Verma, Secretary, Transport Department, Mr. S.K. Prakash, Special Secretary Housing and Environment Mr. Janak Prasad Pathak, Joint Secretary of Housing and Environment Department Mr. Jitendra Shukla, Managing Director Chhattisgarh State Mineral Development Corporation and Rural Investment Mr. Jaiprakash Maurya, Chief Executive Officer of Nava Raipur Development Authority Ms. Kiran Kaushal, Markfed Managing Director Mr. Manoj Soni along with other senior officers of Housing and Environment, Food and Civil Supplies and Transport Department were present.
