Under the scheme, the state government will give grant money to the gram panchayats for the dignified organization of tribal festivals and festivals.

Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel will inaugurate the ‘Mukhya Mantri Adivasi Parab Samman Nidhi Yojana’ at the ‘Bharose ka Sammelan’ organized at Jagdalpur, the headquarters of Bastar division, on April 13. Under this scheme, grants will be given to the Gram Panchayats by the state government for the dignified organization of tribal festivals and festivals. On the occasion of the launch of the scheme, Chief Minister Mr. Baghel will release an amount of Rs. 5 thousand each as the first installment to 1840 gram panchayats of Bastar division.
Under the ‘Chief Minister Adivasi Parab Samman Nidhi Yojana’, tribal festivals, festival fairs, Madai, Jatra festival, Sarna Puja, Devgudi, Navakhai, Chherchera, Akti, Hareli etc. in the villages of the scheduled area to preserve the festivals, festivals, culture. For this purpose, a grant amount of Rs 10,000 per year will be released to each gram panchayat in two installments.
On January 26, on the occasion of Republic Day, Chief Minister Mr. Baghel had announced ‘Chief Minister Adivasi Parab Samman Nidhi Yojana’ to preserve the culture and tradition of festivals of the tribal society. A provision of Rs 5 crore has been made for this scheme in the budget of the financial year 2023-24. This scheme will be applicable in the entire Scheduled Area (Scheduled Tribe Development Block) of Chhattisgarh.
The objective of Mukhyamantri Adivasi Parab Samman Nidhi is to preserve the culture and tradition of Teej festivals of the tribals and to transfer these festivals and festivals in their original form to the next generation and record the cultural traditions. The unit of the scheme will be grama (village). The nodal agency for the scheme will be the Chief Executive Officer, Janpad Panchayat.
Village level governing body and section level governing body will be constituted for the implementation of the scheme. The structure of the body will be as follows-
Sarpanch of the concerned Gram Panchayat will be the president in the village level governing body. Gayata, Pujari, Sirha, Gunia, Baiga will be the members. The village level governing body will have two village elders, two women, village Kotwar, Patel and secretary of the village panchayat as members.
In the district level governing body, the Sub-Divisional Officer, Revenue will be the President and the Chief Executive Officer, Janpad Panchayat will be its Member Secretary. In the district level governing body, the president of the district panchayat, development block education officer, tehsildar will be members. In which festivals this amount is to be used in the village, it will be decided by the village level committee. The district level governing body will be responsible for monitoring and coordinating the implementation of this scheme at the district level.
